Description
This image shows the Royal Tomb under the Temple of the Sun in Machu Picchu. This place was carved from a natural cave. Only the Inca Emperor and the notable family and priests were allowed access to the temple. Machu Picchu, a symbol of the Incan Empire, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Yale professor Hiram Bingham discovered it in 1911. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
