Description
The Temple of Condor was carved using the natural cave. The head, neck, and wings of this large bird in the form of landing is an amazing creation of Incan masons. The discovery of mummies here proves that the place was used for sacrificial ceremonies. Machu Picchu, a symbol of the Incan Empire, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Yale professor Hiram Bingham discovered it in 1911. It became one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2018.
