Artist's Description
There must be a lot of stories behind this abandoned house in the northern part of Newfoundland island. There was nothing around to protect this house against harsh weather. A trace of a vegetable garden was there but looked unattended for years.

Congratulations on being featured in the FAA Group 'Art of Atlantic Canada.' To ensure your feature remains available over time, post your featured image(s) in the Group's 'Thanks for the Feature / Image Archive.' l/f and p if you allow pinning (www.pinterest.ca/tendrelimages/art-of-atlantic-canada/) (when I lived on the west coast of Newfoundland, in Corner Brook, I met a guy at work that owned one of these deserted places where he had been raised - he had never gone back in 25 years, so some of the stories are definitely not happy ones)
Makiko Ishihara replied:
Thanks for featuring in the 'Art of Atlantic Canada'. Am I missing the group icon? This house could have been that man's parents', East coast is always appealing to me. Thanks.
